Commissions + Installations

"We first fell in love with Vanessa’s work at the Wickford Art Festival years ago. What started with one painting has grown into a collection throughout our home- including a commissioned piece of hour house. Her ability to capture the beauty of Rhode Island is unmatched. Every piece draws compliments and we couldn’t recommend her more."

"As both a collector and an interior designer, working with Vanessa is truly a dream. She has an incredible ability to listen deeply and understand exactly what my clients are hoping to capture—even when they can’t always put it into words. Her paintings don’t just fill a space, they bring it to life. Each piece holds a memory, a feeling, a sense of place—and her depictions of the Rhode Island coastline are unmatched. There’s an ease and warmth to the entire process, and every time I collaborate with her, I’m reminded why original art is such a powerful part of creating a home. Vanessa has not only been an asset to my business, but also to my life and home, as I am so pleased to own and enjoy several of her pieces."

"The prints I ordered from you arrived last Friday. They are gorgeous! And I love how they look paired with my two Mini’s from you. Thank you again!!"

"We are the proud owners of six of Vanessa Piche’s original paintings. The first two were purchased at two different Wickford (Rhode Island) Art Festivals and the next three were commissions. What initially attracted us to Vanessa’s paintings is her uncanny ability to capture color, light and composition. Her skies, with powerful clouds, create an inviting balance whether it is combined with water, people, buildings, or boats. Two of our commissioned paintings are of our grandsons; one with them walking down a dock with crabbing gear and the other of them in waist deep water digging quahogs. She nailed both of them so well. The third commission is of the Narragansett coast line with the perspective from Narragansett Bay. Our most recent painting we purchased from Vanessa was one of her earlier renderings of the RI coastline depicting “Beavertail (Jamestown, RI) Looking North,” capturing its rocky coast line, waves and its powerful ability to wreak havoc on mariners venturing too close. Vanessa is clearly one of our favorite artists and her work is displayed prominently throughout our home. Her versatility has served her well."

"More often than not, home is where the joy is and Vanessa's artwork has helped us add numerous layers all throughout. Uniquely, she's captured the glimpse of wondrous coastal landscapes without exaggeration of the subject nor stylistically in her painting style. With several paintings hung, including commissioned work - we've repeatedly been drawn to her work equally as the actual points of destination for their warmth.
The combination between Vanessa's collaborative personality and contagious smile was the perfect match to her insistence in making sure the artwork was perfect for our space. Perhaps the next will be our new favorite."
